For almost 7 years I have been teaching art classes for children and young people from difficult backgrounds in public schools in London. I graduated from the Faculty of Dance Theater in Bytom. I dance, play drums, shoot dance movies and teach yoga. I have recently been living in Katowice.
My classes are for children who want to be creative – through movement, theater games, art, film and sound. It’s a place where ideas clash. All this – in English! We will start with a dose of movement – dance – to stimulate our creativity. We will be inspired by various artists and their creativity and create fantastic stories from different materials – words, objects, drawings and movement. We will look at various English stories and try to play them out on stage ourselves. This is how we teach a language through play – most naturally!
