The child has one intuitive aim: self development
My name is Sigurbjörg Magnúsdóttir, or Sibba (for short) and I am from Iceland. Having graduated with a Language Studies Diploma in my local College, I followed a dream of mine to move to London. Working as an au-pair, I came to learn about the Montessori pedagogy. Having graduated with the AMI Montessori 3-6 Diploma, I worked as a teacher in a Montessori nursery school for over 5 years. Then I worked for a year in a special needs school as an assistant before moving to Poland to work at English Montessori School at the upper elementary level. Working with children is a passion that keeps on giving. Helping them grow, reach their goals to become their true selves. I learn from them as they learn from me. My other passions are dancing, baking, arts and crafts, gardening, traveling and learning new languages.
We are an energetic team of educators passionate about making learning enjoyable. Our whole focus is on meeting the individual needs of each child through the Montessori method while providing both international and bilingual educational programmes.
We feel happy to have our son in Montessori preschool the last two years. The experienced teachers helped our child to learn English language, behaviour, to express his feelings, to work as a member of a team.
