Sigurbjörg Magnúsdóttir
My name is Sigurbjörg Magnúsdóttir, or Sibba (for short) and I am from Iceland. Having graduated with a Language Studies Diploma in my local College, I followed a dream of mine to move to London. Working as an au-pair, I came to learn about the Montessori pedagogy.
Having graduated with the AMI Montessori 3-6 Diploma, I worked as a teacher in a Montessori nursery school for over 5 years. Then I worked for a year in a special needs school as an assistant before moving to Poland to work at English Montessori School at the upper elementary level.
Working with children is a passion that keeps on giving. Helping them grow, reach their goals to become their true selves. I learn from them as they learn from me. My other passions are dancing, baking, arts and crafts, gardening, traveling and learning new languages.
