We’re staying at Gallusa until the end of the school year!

Do you remember how, in our February newsletter, we wrote that all the signs in the heavens and on earth pointed to us moving to the new building at the end of April? The signs were mistaken. 😉We’ll be staying in the Gallus building until the end of the 2025/26 school year, so to 26.06.2026. All in all, we’re happy about this. We still don’t know yet what’s going to happen with the summer camp at the end of June and during July.

We are still counting on your help

We are still counting on your help with:

  • painting and organising the space – 8th and 9th May 2026 from 9.00am to 2.00pm (please let us know BY EMAIL, if you are able to support with this)
  • packing and moving – we’ll let you know the date at a later stage.

We are working on a ‘dry run’ 😉 of adapting our rules, routines and way of life to a new building. You can expect to receive updates to the family handbook. We’re also making sure to stay positive and keep our enthusiasm for overcoming challenges, because we know for certain that many things will work out in the end.  And we must remain positive and strong. Our entire community – including the children and you, dear parents. We need to be together and support one another so that, together, we can reshape the reality of English Montessori School.

Back to our roots

We mentioned previously that we had started moving towards a return to the core Montessori concept, which involves bringing pupils from grades 1 to 6 together in a single group, in one classroom. Last school year, we took the first step in this direction – we brought grades 1–6 to each floor. We considered taking the next step in connection with the move. However, we decided for now to wait a little longer. We would like to take another look at how the groups will function in the new building layout with both groups on the same floor before we make a final decision.

Would any of you like to write a few words for our newsletter?

Perhaps you have memories of the Gallus building that fill your hearts and you’d like to share them with us? We’d love to hear from you! We’d be delighted to read your contribution. I don’t know if you remember – especially those parents who attended our ball a couple of years ago – but we keep (from time to time) a school chronicle.

We would be delighted if you could write a short text sharing your memories and thoughts. Perhaps you could even include some photos and send them to: dyrektor@englishmontessorischool.pl.. We would be delighted . We know that this place, which we’ll soon be leaving, brings back lots of memories for you too… your child’s first day at school, their first sleepover away from home and so on.

Do share your stories with us!!

😉 Płyniemy do brzegu. Ściana frontowa, która nam strasznie dała w kość i bardzo nas spowolniła jest już prawie skończona Musieliśmy wstawić w niej 9 ponad 6 metrowych zbrojonych, betonowych nadproży dla nowych okien.
